A: If your present hosting provider can no longer fulfill the needs of your web site, or if you suffer from continual network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the technical support team to reply back to you, it may be a good idea to swap your provider, i.e. to move all the files for your sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At BALHADI Hosting, we are aware that this can be hard and time–consuming. That’s the reason why we will perform all that for you for free!Our highly capable technical staff reps will migrate your web site content from your current hosting provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience migrating web sites and are able to take care of everything – from a customary WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–driven website, to a highly complex, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, because there are plenty of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our very best to transfer your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (if the website content is not very large).

A: We’ll need the login details for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel and the site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose pretty much the same details you have provided to your current host. We also have an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive info is tackled.

A: While we move your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. As soon as the migration is completed, we’ll ensure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised before telling you that the migration is complete. Then we will tell you how to move the domain name over to your web hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS resource records.

A: Nope. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we don’t require anything. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the transfer either.

A: We can migrate your web site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform so long as we can acquire access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only sites that we cannot transfer are those based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
